Homework Fail

Kindergarten homework is sometimes more challenging than one might think. But a couple of worksheets stand out for me not in their level of difficulty, but in the level of work I had to put in to keep from laughing.

This week, Yoseph completed a worksheet where he had to choose between different sounds to complete a word, using a picture of the word as his guide. He wasn’t quite sure what the below image depicted, so I sounded out the possible combinations with him.

Shat. Chat. That.

Tim walked into the room right as I said shat, just in time to watch me nearly explode with the giggle I was trying to swallow. Something’s always funnier when you’re not supposed to laugh, right?

But a math worksheet from earlier this month about shapes may take the cake.

Yup. Looks like a cylinder to me.
