I officially became StepMolly one year ago today (Happy Anniversary, Tim!). While that nickname was simple to adopt, I am still trying to figure out the right balance of maiden name vs. married name (it’s harder than I thought it would be!). This great Q&A with Yoseph, also from a year ago, seemed appropriate.
Yoseph (then 5 years old): You’re our mama now, right?
Me: Yup, but you call me Molly.
Yoseph, matter of factly: I’m going to call you Deuberry Craft.
He cracks me up. He hears and retains so much.
